As a Deputy Manager - Supplier Quality Engineering (Electrical & Electronics), your primary mission will be to ensure the highest standards of quality in the procurement, development, and production phases of automotive electrical and mechanical components. You will be a key driver in implementing robust quality frameworks, monitoring supplier performance, and identifying opportunities for process innovations that enhance product reliability and customer satisfaction.Your key responsibilities include:
- Leading the successful execution of Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) in partnership with suppliers to validate quality benchmarks at early product development stages, ensuring compliance with agreed specifications and standards.
- Establishing and nurturing strong and team-oriented relationships with suppliers by conducting regular performance reviews, supplier audits, and facilitating continuous improvement initiatives to optimise manufacturing processes and enhance product quality.
- Applying advanced quality management tools such as Six Sigma methodologies and QC Story analysis to systematically identify root causes of quality issues and deploying corrective and preventive actions that yield sustainable improvements.
- Implementing daily work management protocols by monitoring quality concerns through dashboards, analysing monthly performance indicators, and expediting resolution of issues to support uninterrupted production schedules.
- Promoting a culture of continuous learning by sharing insights and best practices across product family teams, thereby fostering innovation and avoiding recurrence of quality challenges.
