Role Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced Functional Solution Architect – Oracle Financials to lead and design end-to-end financial business processes using Oracle ERP (Cloud and/or E-Business Suite). You will act as the strategic bridge between finance business leaders and technical teams, ensuring that Oracle solutions align with business objectives and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities
- Own the functional architecture of Oracle Financials modules including GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, Tax, and SLA.
- Lead client workshops to gather requirements and define future-state finance processes.
- Translate business needs into scalable, fit-for-purpose Oracle ERP solutions.
- Create and validate functional designs, process flows, solution blueprints, and configuration documents.
- Serve as the subject matter expert on Oracle Financials, providing guidance on system capabilities, limitations, and best practices.
- Support the configuration, testing (SIT, UAT), and deployment phases of the implementation.
- Collaborate with project managers, business analysts,



and technical leads to ensure successful solution delivery.
- Drive functional discussions with C-level stakeholders and finance leadership.
- Provide thought leadership in finance transformation, shared services models, and Oracle Cloud adoption.

Requirements
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of functional experience in Oracle Financials, including 2+ Oracle Cloud implementations.
- Deep understanding of financial processes: procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, record-to-report, and fixed asset management.
- Proven expertise in modules such as: GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, Tax, and SLA
- Experience leading finance transformation or ERP upgrade projects.
- Solid communication skills to work across business and IT stakeholders.
- Functional understanding of integration points with Procurement, Projects, and HCM.
- Hands-on experience with configuration, documentation, and test scenario preparation.
