Responsibilities:
- Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging studies including X-ray, ultrasound, CT scan, MRI, and mammography.
- Review patient history and clinical information to ensure accurate image interpretation and diagnosis.
- Prepare detailed, transparent, and timely radiology reports for referring physicians and care teams.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to support clinical decision-making and treatment planning.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment in compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Participate in quality assurance programs, peer reviews, and continuing medical education initiatives.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in radiological techniques, protocols, and safety guidelines.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior radiology staff and trainees, where applicable.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and accreditation standards, including HIPAA and institutional protocols.
