Job Description:

Assess and analyse multiple product wise costing parameters & validate them
 Product & state wise costing to be done every month
 Maintain SKU master database – state wise
 Costing for current products, recipe changes, schemes and trade promotions
 Responsible for timely price increase through competition benchmarking, pricing elasticity and
sales growth assessment
 Generate costing related MIS at a pre-agreed frequency
 Plan, organize and direct all the activities of the cost accounting function
 Manage day to day operations of the existing cost accounting function from management of current
rates to monthly close and analysis
 Support the Project Cost Team in the development of a standard costing system
 Manage the transition from the existing cost environment to a new standard cost system
 Identify, hire and develop in-plant cost accountants
 Development and maintenance of standard costs
 Perform the monthly closing activities including preparation of the cost to operate statement along with




supporting analysis
 Proactive analysis of variances and communication of issues and opportunities to operations
management
 Develop metrics and tracking system for major cost drivers
 Define policies and procedures for all cost accounting activities

Desired Profile / Criteria / Skills :

CA / ICWA / Accounting or Finance with an emphasis in Costing &
Budgeting. CPA is required.

Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and
databases

Ability to understand large amounts of data

Ability to communicate with non-accounting professionals clearly
and concisely

Proven knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards,
laws and regulations

 Should be well versed with SAP Model

High attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to direct and supervise
Ability to work with and influence diverse stakeholder groups
Speed of execution and drive for results
