Senior NLP Data Scientist

Job Summary:

Client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior NLP data scientist with expertise in large language models (LLM) and prompt engineering techniques. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-4 years of experience in classic NLP techniques and LLMs, as well as at least 1 year of experience in prompt engineering. The candidate should be well-versed in methods of building domain-specific LLM usecases, fine-tuning LLMs, various relevant python libraries, and keeping up-to-date with the advances in the field of LLMs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead research activities and collaborate with extended R&D; team to build LLM-powered usecases.
- Conduct rigorous performance evaluation of the responses from LLM-powered applications.
- Utilize prompt/instruction tuning techniques to improve the performance of LLMs.




- Utilize one-shot/few-shot learning techniques to enhance the capabilities of LLMs.
- Conduct LLM literature analysis to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field.

Qualifications:
- Minimum Master’s degree in data science, computer science or related field.
- 3-4 years of experience in large language models (LLM) and classic NLP techniques.
- At least 1 year of experience in prompt engineering.
- Hands-on experience with text data wrangling.
- In-depth knowledge of LLMs and their limitations.
- Experience/familiarity with LangChain and similar tools.
- OOP and Python coding proficiency.
- Robust communication and collaboration skills.
