Job Description:

Key Responsibilities
 Design, develop, and implement reliable and scalable database solutions (e.g., relational, NoSQL).
 Create and maintain database objects such as tables, views, indexes, stored procedures, and triggers.
 Optimize database performance through indexing, query tuning, and storage management.
 Ensure data integrity, security, backup, and disaster recovery strategies are in place and functional.
 Collaborate with development teams to integrate databases into applications.
 Conduct troubleshooting and debugging of database issues and provide timely resolution.
 Implement data migration, transformation, and data warehousing solutions.
 Monitor and analyze system performance, and generate reports for usage metrics and optimization.
 Stay current with current database technologies and best practices.

Required Qualifications
 Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
 Proven experience as a Database Engineer, Database Administrator,



or in a similar role.
 Proficiency in SQL and experience with database systems such as MySQL.
 Strong knowledge of data modeling, normalization, and schema design.
 Experience with database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
 Familiarity with cloud database services (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL, Google Cloud SQL) is a plus.
 Understanding of data security and compliance standards.

Preferred Skills
 Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell).
 Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
 Knowledge of ETL tools and data integration platforms.
 Certifications in database management or cloud platforms are advantageous.

Working days
Monday to Friday- 10 am to 7 pm
1 st and 2 nd Saturday- 10 am to 4 pm
2 nd and 4 th Saturday- WFH (depending on Management decision)
