A Day in the Life
As a Senior AI/Data Science Engineer, you will be a part of our DWAS - Data Engineering team responsible for designing, developing, deploying, monitoring, and supporting the Analytics & rebuild of legacy reports in data mart platform. In addition, you will be responsible for creating tools and automating operational tasks to integrate the data platform with external systems. This position will participate in production support rotation to ensure platform uptime.Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Work independently under limited supervision
- Implement CI/CD patterns for deploying and administering the data platform
- Setup proactive monitoring and alerting
- Create automation to enable a self-service model for developers
- Troubleshoot production issues
- Use platform metrics to provide guidance on right-sizing infrastructure
- Work with IT and business partners to identify opportunities to improve existing processes
- Mentor and guide junior engineers.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Overall, 7-12 years of IT experience with Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
- Relevant Data Engineering Experience: Minimum experience of 6 years, or advanced degree with experience of 4 years.
- Ability to take business requirements and work independently to deliver solutions using industry best-practice
- Robust Expertise in writing SQL Queries.
- Ability to a
