The Senior Development Engineer is an experienced skilled who leads software development projects and teams. They are responsible for designing and architecting software solutions, providing technical guidance and mentorship to team members, and ensuring the successful delivery of software products. Senior Development Engineers also collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements, manage project timelines and resources, and drive continuous improvement in software development practices.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Delivers high-complexity development or automation tasks as part of a team. Documents code. Ensures the team follows established software product engineering practices related to software development.




• Works under moderate supervision with access to assistance for work assignments not covered through established guidelines.
• Acquires solid knowledge and develops specialized skills.
• Establishes individual priorities when supporting projects and/or processes.
• Perform other assigned job-related duties that align with our organization's vision, mission, and values and fall within your scope of practice.
Design and Development:
• Designing, coding, and debugging applications in various software languages or tools.
• Developing software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, and studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes.
Testing and Maintenance:
• Performing unit testing and integration testing.
• Maintaining and improving existing codebases and peer review code changes.
• Troubleshooting and resolving software defects and issues.
