Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including history taking, physical examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic results.
- Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures such as Echocardiography, TMT (Treadmill Test), Holter Monitoring, and stress echocardiography.
- Assist in and perform invasive cardiac procedures including Cardiac Catheterization, Angiography, Angioplasty, and Pacemaker Implantation under supervision.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient-specific risk factors.
- Collaborate with nurses, technicians, and other specialists to ensure seamless patient care across inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
- Participate in on-call rotations and emergency cardiac interventions as required.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in cardiology through continuous medical education and clinical research.
- Contribute to hospital quality improvement initiatives and clinical audits related to cardiovascular care.
Requirements:
- MBBS degree with a recognized postgraduate qualification in General Medicine or a relevant specialization.
- Completion of a structured residency or internship program with exposure to cardiology.
- Proficiency in Echocardiography, TMT, Holter Monitoring, and cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Hands-on experience or training in Angiography, Angioplasty, and Pacemaker Implantation (must be supervised).
- Robust understanding of cardiovascular physiology, pharmacology, and interventional techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex medical information to patients and families.
- Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced clinical environments.
