Background
i) Educational Qualification
Essential :
- B.E / B.Tech Mechanical Engineering (NIT or IIT preferred)
- Minimum 70 % marks
Desirable:
- Project / Training in any of the functional areas of Automobile Fuel system including CNG,LPG, Petrol, Diesel, Ethanol, Hydrogen
ii) Experience
Minimum: 4 Year(s)
Maximum: 8 Year(s)
iii) Age Limit

Job Role & Responsibilities
Role:
To design and evaluate Gaseous and Liquid Fuel system parts, like fuel tanks, Regulator, filter and it’s mounting on the chassis.
- Fuel system layout making from Tank to Engine, mounting of components, fuel lines routing etc.
- 3D Modelling & 2D Drafting.
- Interaction with cross functional teams, CAE, CD, vendors etc.
Responsibilities:
- Design of Parts and Components in Fuel System ensuring manufacturability.
- Design of fuel systems including CNG, LPG, Petrol, Diesel,
Ethanol, and Hydrogen.
- Design of sheet metal, plastic and rubber components in fuel system.
- Making DVP, DFMEA of parts and getting validated.
- Release of drawings for development and ensure timelines.
- Getting parts validated with the help of testing, CAE, Calculations.

Competency Requirements
Technical/ Functional:
- Basic knowledge of GD&T; concepts and tolerance stack up
- Expertise in 3D modelling and drafting
- Understanding of manufacturing processes like sheet metal brackets, Rubber moulding, Casting & Forging
- Exposure to metrology and capable of basic measurements.
Behavioral

- Ability to work in a team
Specific expertise required for functional area :
- Regulations and standards knowledge for CNG and petrol, Hydrogen fuel system.
