Position: Store Manager

Department: Stores & Inventory

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the overall operations of the central store and site stores.
- Ensure timely receipt, storage, issue, and dispatch of construction materials.
- Verify all incoming materials against Purchase Orders (PO), Delivery Challans, and Goods Receipt Notes (GRN).
- Maintain accurate stock records in ERP/software and physical registers.
- Monitor stock levels and raise material requisitions to avoid shortages.
- Ensure proper storage, identification, and preservation of construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile differences with system records.
- Maintain minimum, maximum, and reorder stock levels for critical materials.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Project Managers, Site Engineers, and Accounts for smooth material flow.
- Ensure timely issue of materials to sites based on approved Material Requisition Slips (MRS).
- Monitor material consumption and identify abnormal usage or wastage.
- Prepare daily, weekly,



and monthly inventory and stock movement reports.
- Maintain records of returnable materials, scrap, damaged materials, and surplus inventory.
- Implement FIFO (First In First Out) or FEFO (First Expiry First Out) wherever applicable.
- Ensure proper documentation for material inward, outward, transfers, and returns.
- Maintain records of tools, machinery, and assets issued to employees and subcontractors.
- Ensure proper tagging and tracking of company assets.
- Coordinate with logistics for timely transportation of materials between stores and project sites.
- Monitor material handling to prevent damage, theft, and pilferage.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, audit requirements, and statutory regulations.
- Maintain housekeeping, safety, and security within the store premises.
