Role Overview

We are looking for a senior Sales & Marketing qualified with strong exposure to the steel manufacturing industry to drive regional sales growth, manage key accounts, and strengthen market presence across North & Central Karnataka.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales & marketing strategies for steel products (TMT bars, billets, sponge iron, structural steel, etc.)
- Drive B2B and channel sales across Karnataka and neighboring regions
- Manage and grow dealer, distributor, and institutional client networks
- Handle key accounts, large industrial buyers, EPC contractors, and infrastructure clients
- Forecast sales, prepare annual budgets, and achieve volume & revenue targets
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies
- Coordinate with plant operations, logistics, and finance teams to ensure smooth order execution.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the regional sales team
- Represent the company in trade meets, industry events, and client negotiations

Requirements
Required Skills & Experience




- 10–15 years of experience in Sales & Marketing within the steel / metal / heavy industry
- Strong understanding of steel products, pricing, and market dynamics
- Proven experience in dealer management and institutional sales
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills
- Experience handling Karnataka markets, especially Bellary, Hosapete, Devanagari and Hubli / nearby industrial area
- Six-sigma belt preferred
- Ability to travel extensively within the region

Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Business / Marketing
- MBA (Sales & Marketing) is an added advantage

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Background from steel plants, rolling mills, or integrated steel manufacturers
- Strong local market knowledge and established industry connections
- Results-driven, strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability
