We are seeking a skilled and experienced WebMethods Senior Consultant for a contract role to support development, integration, and deployment of enterprise-level B2B/EDI solutions using Software AG WebMethods. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical knowledge, hands-on experience, and an ability to work in dynamic project environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, test, and deploy integration solutions using Software AG WebMethods Suite

Implement and manage B2B integrations using Trading Networks, EDI, and communication protocols (AS2, FTP, SFTP)

Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into integration flows.

Lead or participate in architecture/design discussions and code reviews.

Maintain and enhance existing integration solutions with performance tuning and optimization.

Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues quickly.

Prepare documentation for integration flows, mapping logic, and troubleshooting procedures.

Provide support during testing phases and go-live rollout.





Follow best practices for integration design, error handling, logging, and version control.

Requirements
5 to 7 years of robust hands-on experience with Software AG WebMethods

Expertise in:
- Integration Server
- Trading Networks
- Designer / Developer
- MWS (My WebMethods Server)
- Broker / Universal Messaging
- Deep knowledge of EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT), partner onboarding, and B2B transaction flows
- Proficient in protocols like AS2, FTP, SFTP, HTTPS
- Good understanding of integration with backend ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills
- Experience with version control systems (Git, SVN)
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
