About the role
The Post-Closing CD Specialist is responsible for reconciling the final version of the Closing Disclosure (CD),
including any post-funding revisions, to ensure accuracy, compliance, and data integrity. This role plays a key part in delivering secure, timely, and compliant mortgage disclosures while maintaining detailed documentation within the Loan Origination System (LOS).
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the company’s Loan Origination System (LOS)
- Review and ensure accuracy and data integrity for the issuance of the Closing Disclosure and Loan Estimate
- Reconcile post-funding revisions to ensure customers receive an exact record of their mortgage transaction
- Maintain accurate records of communications and actions related to the disclosure process within the loan file conversation log
- Maintain service levels and adhere to regulatory timelines for completion and delivery of disclosures, verified through LOS tracking systems
