Job Description:

We are looking for a talented MEP & HVAC Design Engineer with strong expertise in Chiller Plants (air-cooled/water-cooled) and VRV/VRF systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing designs, technical documentation, and coordinating with clients and consultants to ensure successful project execution. This role is ideal for engineers who have hands-on experience in designing HVAC systems for commercial, industrial, hospital, and high-rise building projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform heat load calculations and cooling load estimations as per ASHRAE/ISHRAE standards.
- Design & selection of chillers, pumps, cooling towers, AHUs, FCUs, VRV/VRF systems, and other HVAC equipment.
- Prepare HVAC system layouts (ducting, piping, controls) using AutoCAD / Revit.
- Develop BOQ, technical specifications, design reports, tender documents, and equipment data sheets.
- Manage documentation, submittals, and approvals with clients and consultants.
- Coordinate with MEP teams (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing), architects, and contractors for project integration.




- Review vendor proposals and conduct technical evaluations.
- Support in value engineering, energy efficiency improvements, and system optimisation.
- Provide technical support during installation, testing & commissioning stages.

Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of HVAC system design (Chillers, VRV/VRF, Air Distribution, Hydronic Systems).
- Familiarity with MEP coordination and integration.
- Proficiency in HAP / TRACE, AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Carrier E20-II, Duct Sizer, Pipe Sizer or equivalent software.
- Knowledge of standards/codes: ASHRAE, ISHRAE, SMACNA, NBC, IS, ASME.
- Positive communication, documentation, and client handling skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Qualifications & Experience:
- B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
- 3–8 years of experience in MEP & HVAC design engineering.
