- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including engineering, quality, and supply chain) to standardize manufacturing processes across production lines and facilities.
- Identify best practices and implement process improvements to reduce downtime, enhance throughput, and ensure consistent product quality.
- Cost Management and Resource Optimization:
- Work closely with the operations and finance teams to identify opportunities for cost savings and optimize resource allocation.
- Drive initiatives to reduce waste, improve energy efficiency,
and lower production costs without compromising on quality.
- Project Management:
- Manage large-scale manufacturing improvement projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate recent technologies, machinery, and process improvements into existing manufacturing operations.
- Quality and Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to quality standards (ISO, GMP, etc.) and regulatory compliance across all manufacturing activities.
- Implement robust quality control processes to monitor product defects and minimize variations.
- Training and Capability Development:
- Mentor and train manufacturing teams to improve technical skills, process understanding, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by providing training on Lean and Six Sigma principles to staff at all levels.
