We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts & Commission Specialist to join our Finance team at Amex GBT. This role is critical to maintaining accurate financial records, managing client relationships, and ensuring smooth commission processing operations.
What You’ll do
- Commission Management: Allocate collected commissions accurately and timely to appropriate accounts
- Accounts Receivable: Monitor, track, and manage outstanding receivables; follow up on overdue payments
- Accounts Payable: Process and manage vendor invoices and payment obligations
- Invoicing: Generate, review, and distribute accurate invoices to clients in a timely manner
- Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank transactions and resolve discrepancies
- Credit Card Reconciliation:
Verify and reconcile credit card transactions and statements
- Commission Inquiries: Respond to and resolve commission-related queries from internal teams and external partners
- Client Support: Address client inquiries professionally and provide timely resolutions
What We're looking for
- Graduate with 4 -6 years of experience with proven experience in accounting and finance with a preference for travel industry background
- Proficiency with accounting software (NetSuite, GMAX, Agresso preferred) and Microsoft Excel/MS Office
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Capable of working independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
