Key Responsibilities:
- Assume the role of Software Engineer with responsibilities to Define, Design, Develop, and Deploy applications/services and proof-of-concepts to support current and existing vehicle products and enhancements.
- Collaborate with the Product Manager to ensure quality and on-time delivery of products using agile and test-driven development
- Required to work with the Technical Product Manager to contribute to shaping the technology and tooling direction of the product and Vehicle Software Updates product
- Review and support product defect analysis
- Participate in integrated testing across the Connected Vehicle ecosystem to ensure end-to-end product
- Directly contribute to development activities utilizing Software Craftsmanship/Clean Code/Extreme Programming
Qualifications:
Required:
- BE/ B.Tech in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent
- 5+ years of Java development
- 3+ years of Spring and Spring Boot framework
- 3+ years of experience with Software Development tools (Backlog Management, Source Code Management, Test Management, CI/CD, etc).
- 3+ years of experience with Test Driven Development and Agile
- 2+ years of experience with Cloud environments (GCP, Azure)
Nice to have skills:
- Strong communication and collaboration
- Familiarity with Graph DB solutions (e.g. neo4j)
- Familiarity with other common programming/scripting languages (e.g. Python)
- Development experience in multiple programming environments (Mobile, Vehicle, Cloud)
- API Development, including OAuth2
- Understanding of in-vehicle architectures
