Description
The Global IT Operations team is responsible for maintaining reliable, secure, and compliant IT services across the company’s fleet infrastructure. The team manages vessel IT infrastructure, datacentre environments, cybersecurity operations, operational monitoring, and compliance frameworks.
The team works closely with fleet managers, vessel crews, internal IT departments, and external vendors to ensure continuous IT operations, regulatory compliance, and secure infrastructure across all vessels globally.

What You Will Do:
· Fleet IT Operations Management
Lead operational IT activities across the vessel fleet, ensuring stable infrastructure, system availability, and operational efficiency. Monitor operational performance and coordinate resolution of infrastructure incidents affecting vessel IT systems.
· Datacentre and Infrastructure Management
Oversee vessel datacentre infrastructure including domain controllers, file servers, storage systems, backup infrastructure, and network devices. Ensure proper configuration, system availability,



and lifecycle management of datacenter equipment.
· Backup and Disaster Recovery Governance
Ensure backup systems across vessels and shore infrastructure are functioning correctly. Review backup reports, validate backup integrity, conduct restoration testing, and participate in disaster recovery exercises to ensure operational resilience.
· Patch and Vulnerability Management
Coordinate patch deployment across servers and workstations. Monitor vulnerability scanning results (Rapid7 or equivalent), track remediation progress, and ensure security vulnerabilities are resolved within defined timelines.
· Cybersecurity Operations
Implement security best practices across vessel infrastructure including endpoint protection, system hardening, privileged access control, encryption, and network security controls.
· Compliance and Governance
Ensure IT infrastructure aligns with security standards such as ISO 27001, internal IT policie
