Objective of the Role: -

To lead the entire gamut of Sales & Marketing operations of the organization such as strategic planning, preparation & execution of budgets, and managing of State Heads/vertical Heads and Marketing Team.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Understand the dairy business by coordinating with the business verticals like production, quality, finance and HR dept.
2. Understand the 5 year business plan of DDL and formulate Sales strategies to drive top line growth in domestic market and prepare cutting-edge plans to achieve higher value realization, brand management, go to market and prepare promotion strategies for various existing / new products.
3. Develop sales plans, strategies, and policies with a view to increase/sustain market share and profitability.
4. Have effective implementation and monitoring mechanism to ensure achievement of the Sales plans and strategies.
5.



Formulate policies and guidelines for smooth functioning and satisfaction of channel partners like dealers, distributors and stockiest.
6. Scan the environment to understand competitor's activities, demand supply scenario, regulatory issues to formulate strategies for increasing market share.
7. Ensure an increased market share and profitability by facilitating market development, brand management and business development. Focus on business development through domestic markets (defined geographies) and building the brand of the company in the domestic market

8. Continuously monitor the pricing patterns within the market, checking the prices for the desired products regularly with respect to their competitiveness and value as perceived by the customers, deciding upon pricing from time to time on a need basis to ensure the products are sold with highest recoveries possible.
