About the Role
As the Lead – Academic Counsellor (Mumbai) at Lower Parel, Mumbai, you will play a pivotal role in managing and mentoring a team of academic counselors to drive student enrollments and deliver an exceptional counseling experience. This role involves overseeing team performance, strategizing lead conversion efforts, resolving escalated student concerns,
and ensuring achievement of enrollment and revenue targets while maintaining a student-first approach. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and leadership to optimize counseling operations and uphold high standards across student engagement processes.
What You’ll Do
â Team Management & Leadership:
â Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of 6–10 academic counselors to achieve performance goals.
â Conduct regular performance reviews, provide actionable feedback, and implement performance improvement plans.
â Organize training sessions to upskill team members on counseling strategies, CRM usage, and product knowledge.
â Strategic Planning & Execution:
â Plan and execute strategies to achieve weekly and monthly enrollment targets.
â Monitor and improve team KPIs, including lead response time, talk time, and conversion metrics.
â Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to align lead quality with business and batch requirements.
