Key Responsibilities:
· Design and develop microcontroller-based embedded hardware
· Design and debug analog front-end circuits for ADC, DAC, and load cells
· Develop and test Embedded C firmware for hardware bring-up and validation
· Design and integrate communication interfaces:
o CAN
o RS485
o Ethernet
· Perform schematic design, component selection, and BOM creation
· Support and review PCB layout (analog, digital, mixed-signal)
· Perform hardware bring-up, debugging, and validation
· Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and production teams
· Conduct EMI/EMC debugging and design improvements
· Support prototype testing, field trials, and production issues
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications:
· 8+ years of experience in embedded hardware design
· Robust experience with microcontrollers (STM32, NXP, TI, PIC, AVR, etc.)
· Hands-on experience with:
. ADC, DAC, and load cell signal conditioning
. CAN, RS-485, and Ethernet hardware interfaces
. Embedded C programming
· Experience with analogue circuit design (op-amps, filters, instrumentation amplifiers)
· Knowledge of power supply design (LDOs, DC-DC converters)
· Familiarity with communication stacks and transceivers
· Experience using EDA tools (Altium, OrCAD, Eagle, KiCad, etc.)
· Strong debugging skills using oscilloscope, logic analyser, multimeter
· Understanding of EMI/EMC and ESD protection techniques
