The Appraisal Desk team plays a critical role in supporting the mortgage process by ensuring appraisal orders are handled accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company and regulatory standards. The team works closely with Sales, Processing, and Underwriting, as well as third-party appraisal management companies, to help keep loan files moving forward and deliver a smooth experience for internal partners and customers. Team members are expected to be collaborative, detail-oriented, responsive, and committed to meeting service level expectations in a fast-paced environment.

About the role
The Appraisal Order Specialist is responsible for managing the appraisal process from order placement through final review and system updates. This role ensures appraisal orders are accurate, timely, compliant, and aligned with loan product requirements. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to work cross-functionally with internal teams and third-party partners to support service level expectations and overall loan file quality.

Key Responsibilities:
- Validate property data in the system prior to placing appraisal orders by reviewing property addresses through Real Quest and Zillow sites.
- Place appraisal orders through the integration platform and review/upload appraisal reports based on loan product and program requirements, including Desk Reviews when warranted.
