Responsibilities:
- Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging studies including X-ray, Ultrasound, CT Scan, MRI, and Mammography.
- Generate detailed and accurate radiological reports in a timely manner, ensuring clarity and clinical relevance.
- Collaborate with referring physicians to provide expert consultation on imaging findings and recommend appropriate follow-up studies.
- Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety protocols and quality assurance standards.
- Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment under supervision, ensuring optimal performance and patient safety.
- Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and contribute to clinical decision-making.
- Stay updated with advancements in radiological techniques, technology, and best practices through ongoing education and training.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
Requirements:
- MBBS degree with a recognized postgraduate qualification in Radiology (MD/DM Radiodiagnosis or equivalent).
- Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or relevant state medical council.
- Proficiency in interpreting X-ray, Ultrasound, CT Scan, MRI, and Mammography imaging modalities.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced clinical setting.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, colleagues, and healthcare teams.
- Basic knowledge of PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication Systems) and hospital information systems (HIS).
- Willingness to work in rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and on-call duties as required.
