Contribute across all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Build scalable backend services using Java / Java EE technologies.
Develop APIs for UPI integrations (e.g., PSP, TPAP, bank integrations, NPCI switch connectivity).
Write clean, efficient, and testable code following best practices.
Perform code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization.
Ensure applications comply with UPI/NPCI guidelines, security, and regulatory standards.
Work on real-time transaction processing systems with strong focus on reliability and latency.
Prepare and manage releases of software components.
Convert business requirements into technical solutions.
Support continuous improvement through research of new technologies and tools.
Participate in architecture discussions and design reviews.
Maintain test environments and implement unit/integration testing.
Identify system bottlenecks and optimize performance.
Create technical documentation, user guides, and training materials.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Bachelors degree in computer science / IT / Electronics or equivalent.
6+ years of experience in Java backend development.
Robust expertise in:
Core Java, Collections Framework
OOPS concepts and design patterns
Java EE (JSP, Servlets)
Experience with frameworks like:
Spring / Spring Boot (preferred) or Struts
Hands-on experience in:
RESTful APIs / Web Services (SOAP & REST)
XML and JSON processing
Database knowledge:
MySQL / PostgreSQL
ORM frameworks like Hibernate / JPA
Experience with application servers like Apache Tomcat.
Strong understanding of multithreading and concurrency (important for UPI systems).
Experience with unit testing frameworks like JUnit.
UPI / Payments Domain Expertise (Mandatory or Strongly Preferred):
Hands-on experience with UPI integrations (PSP/TPAP/Banks)
Understanding of NPCI specifications and UPI architecture
