We have been retained by a leading company in the Pulp & Paper Manufacturing Industry to search and place a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with them to plan and execute the organization’s financial strategy.

The candidate for the position shall be expected to be well-versed in all aspects of financial management ranging from straightforward accounting to broad investment and banking operations.

The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader and shall be reporting to the Managing Director of the company with a dotted line reporting to the Chief Executive Officer.

Key Purpose of the Position

The prime purmpose of the position shall be to protect the company’s revenues and profits to achieve full financial control and sustainable growth.
- Providing leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting team
- Providing strategic recommendations to the CEO/president and members of the executive management team
- Managing the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting




- Advising on long-term business and financial planning
- Establishing and developing relations with senior management and external partners and stakeholders
- Reviewing all formal finance, HR and IT related procedures
- Perform risk management by analyzing the organization’s liabilities and investments
- Decide on investment strategies by considering cash and liquidity risks
- Control and evaluate the organization’s fundraising plans and capital structure
- Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the organization’s operations
- Manage vendor relationships
- Prepare reliable current and forecasting reports
- Set up and oversee the company’s finance IT system
- Ensure compliance with the law and company’s policies
- Manage team of financial controllers and financial analysts.

CA with a minimum 15 years of post qualification experience in companies preferably in the Pulp and Paper Manufacturing Industry.
