Job Description:

The candidate will be responsible for managing procurement, supplier relations, material planning, cost optimization, and ensuring timely deliveries efficiently.
- Maintaining good relationships with vendors and negotiating terms.
- Forecast material requirements based on stock available.
- Identifying reliable suppliers for raw materials through contacts, cold calling, internet search, Indiamart, etc.
- Timely purchase to avoid stock delays and emergency purchases.
- Negotiating not only price but also payment terms and delivery schedule.
- Making comparison charts of the prices from different vendors and having valuable decision-making and negotiation tactics.
- Regular follow-ups with the vendors.
- Coordinating with stores and production teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Avoiding overstocking and understocking.
- Ensuring the quality of the material received in coordination with laboratory heads.
- Maintaining purchase records, invoices, supplier agreements, etc.




- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements if required for any particular chemicals.
- Identifying opportunities to reduce procurement costs.
- Overseeing end-to-end supply chain from procurement to operations.
- Suggesting alternative suppliers if required.
- Managing transportation of raw material and finished goods.
- In coordination, keeping a record of stock available at different locations.
- Required regular and proper reporting.
- Ensuring on-time delivery to customers.
