Position summary

The Senior Officer – Operations is responsible for coordinating and executing import and export shipments, ensuring timely documentation, customs coordination, transportation planning, shipping line and airline coordination, overseas agent communication, and complete shipment lifecycle management from booking to delivery. The role requires solid operational knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.

Key responsibilities

Shipment execution
- Handle end-to-end execution of ocean and air import/export shipments.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, customs brokers, CFS/ICDs, warehouses,



and overseas agents.
- Arrange bookings, container planning, vessel scheduling, and shipment movement.
- Monitor shipment milestones and ensure timely movement of cargo.

Documentation
- Prepare and verify shipping documents including Bill of Lading instructions, shipping bills, commercial invoices, packing lists, delivery orders, arrival notices, and other related documents.
- Ensure documentation accuracy and compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate amendments and corrections with carriers and overseas partners.

Customs and regulatory coordination
- Coordinate customs clearance with customs brokers.
- Ensure timely submission of required documents.
- Track customs examination, clearance, and release status.
- Maintain compliance with customs and trade regulations.

Customer coordination
- Act as the operational point of contact for assigned customers.
