As we move from R&D; to manufacturing, we're looking for a SCM Engineer to help bridge design, supply chain, and execution for our next-generation smart kitchen products.

What You’ll Do
- Own mechanical sourcing across all product development stages — from early R&D; to scalable manufacturing.
- Work closely with product design, mechanical, embedded, and manufacturing teams to align sourcing strategies with product goals.
- Identify and qualify domestic and international vendors, lead commercial negotiations, and build strong supplier relationships.
- Handle BoM (Bill of Materials) costing, manage cost-down initiatives, and drive component-level sourcing optimization.
- Source a variety of components including:
- Plastics & sheet metal parts
- Bought-out parts like motors, heaters, sensors, tubes, valves, and instrumentation




- Coordinate prototype part sourcing and production-ready component procurement with agility and speed.
- Support processes related to quality control and logistics in collaboration with internal team members.
- Maintain and enhance sourcing workflows using our Zoho-based internal systems.

Requirements
- 1–2 years experience in hardware sourcing, procurement, or supply chain (preferably in startup or recent product environments).
- Understanding of global and Indian supplier ecosystems for mechanical and electromechanical components.
- Effective communicator who can confidently coordinate with engineers, designers, and leadership.
- Track record of driving vendor onboarding, cost negotiation, and part qualification.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Familiarity with electronics sourcing (PCBs, connectors, sensors, etc.)
- Exposure to quality inspections, logistics, or CAD draw
