Job Purpose:
The Engineer NDT (QA Blade)
is responsible for executing non-destructive testing (NDT) on blade components to detect internal defects such as delamination's, voids, and cracks. This role ensures the calibration and maintenance of NDT equipment, analyzes inspection results, supports corrective actions, and conducts re-inspections. The position collaborates with QA and production teams, adheres to NDT standards, and provides training to enhance team skills and maintain compliance with safety and quality protocols.
Responsibilities
Execution of NDT for Blade Components
- Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) on blade components, including ultrasonic testing (UT), thermographic inspection, and shearography, to detect internal defects.
- Analyze NDT results to identify delamination's, voids, cracks, and other anomalies that could affect blade performance.
Calibration and Maintenance of NDT Equipment
- Ensure all NDT equipment, including ultrasonic probes and
