SAP Security Consultant – Production Support (P1/P2 Tickets)

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced SAP Security Consultant to provide production support for critical SAP environments, with a strong focus on handling P1 and P2 priority incidents. The role requires deep expertise in SAP Security and Authorizations, user access management, role design, compliance controls,
and troubleshooting authorization-related production issues within SLA timelines.
The consultant will work closely with business users, BASIS, functional teams, audit/compliance teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure secure and uninterrupted business operations across SAP systems.
Key Responsibilities
Production Support & Incident Management
- Handle P1 and P2 priority tickets related to SAP Security and Authorizations.
- Analyze and resolve critical access and authorization issues within defined SLA/KPI timelines.
- Perform impact analysis, prioritization, and escalation management for high-severity incidents.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring security incidents and recommend preventive measures.
- Coordinate with BASIS, functional, GRC, audit, and business teams during major incident resolution.
SAP Security & Authorization Support
- Manage and support user administration activities, including:
