- 2-3 years

Objective
To assist in the assessment and implementation of patient care needs within the Operating Department and ensure all patients are treated in a skilled manner and that confidentiality is adhered to.
Key Responsibilities

Co-ordination and Conduction
- Consult and conduct with health care team members to assess, plan, implement, evaluate patient care plan.
- Conduct Pre- Post operative education.
- Provide basic care bed side

Pre OP and Post OP Preparations
- To receive patients over to OT with proper documentation including consent, lab reports and Consultants order, OT clearance slips.
- To provide proper patients over after Post OP with necessary details like Blood loss, post OP orders and any special event during surgery and any special care needed.
