We are seeking an Interior Designer for our preproduction team specializing in modular kitchens and wardrobes. The role involves creating functional designs, preparing production-ready drawings, and coordinating with fabrication and installation teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design customized modular kitchen and wardrobe layouts based on client requirements
- Prepare 2D/3D drawings, cut lists, and fabrication details
- Create Bill of Materials (BOM) with accurate material and hardware specifications
- Coordinate with design, production, and procurement teams
- Select appropriate materials, profiles, finishes, and accessories
- Conduct site measurements and supervise installations
- Ensure designs meet quality standards, feasibility, and timelines
- Support prototype development and pre-production activities
Requirements
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, SketchUp, or similar CAD software
- Understanding of modular kitchen/wardrobe construction and fabrication processes
- Knowledge of materials, hardware, and finishing standards
- Solid visualization, technical drawing, and space planning abilities
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and manage multiple projects
