Job Description:
The Manager – Financial Controls is responsible for enforcing robust financial governance through the evaluation and approval of contracts, POs, and business cases. The role ensures cost control, ROI validation, and performance analysis to support data-driven decision-making. The position demands solid financial acumen, compliance orientation, and strategic thinking to enhance profitability and reduce financial risk.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and approve commercial contracts, purchase orders, and vendor agreements in line with company policies.
• Analyze commercial terms and assess risk exposure of financial transactions.
• Validate business cases and perform ROI analysis for projects and strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with business units to ensure cost-effectiveness of investments and expenses.
• Monitor operational and capital expenditures to ensure alignment with budgets.
• Identify and implement cost optimization measures and financial efficiencies.
• Ensure adherence to statutory and internal financial compliance.
• Develop and enforce SOPs related to finance, business controls, and risk management.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and support internal/external audits.
• Support strategic decision-making through financial modeling and insights.
