About the Role:

We are looking for a seasoned and results-oriented Sales Leader (GM/DGM) to spearhead our business development initiatives in the Railway vertical. The ideal candidate will bring deep industry insights, strong B2B sales acumen, and a proven track record in driving revenue growth within the Wire & Cable sector. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales roadmap for the Railway vertical, aligned with business objectives
- Lead and manage the entire sales lifecycle – from lead generation and proposal development to deal closure and client servicing
- Build and manage long-term relationships with key accounts, government bodies (e.g., Indian Railways), EPCs, consultants, and channel partners
- Identify and capitalize on emerging business opportunities in the Railway segment (including Metro, High-Speed Rail, Electrification, Signalling, etc.)
- Guide, mentor,



and manage a high-performing sales team; set transparent goals and performance KPIs
- Conduct regular market analysis to track competition, pricing, customer needs, and regulatory developments
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Commercial, and Technical teams to ensure customer satisfaction and product alignment
- Drive participation in tenders, strategic alliances, and consortium-based projects
- Ensure adherence to commercial policies, risk assessment protocols, and contract management procedures

Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in Sales/Business Development, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role
- Strong background in Railway projects and B2B industrial sales, preferably within the Wire & Cable industry
- Demonstrated experience in handling large institutional clients and government procurement processes
- Solid understanding of railway procurement, approvals, vendor registration, and technical specifications
