Purpose

CEEW seeks to hire a Communications Consultant with exceptional editing, writing,



and communications skills to join the Outreach team. The candidate will be exposed to the inner workings of one of India’s leading think tanks and have the opportunity to understand and shape narratives in the energy and environment space.

An ideal candidate should have prior experience in editing and re-writing or should have worked at a leading media outlet. The candidate should have a flair for writing cleanly and to the point. They must go beyond just line-editing, with the willingness to understand CEEW’s research areas and the ability to significantly re-write articles, create press releases and other content. The candidate should be well versed in the writing styles of leading international publications such as The Financial Times, The Economist, The New York Times, The Indian Express, Guardian, Atlantic, The Hindu, and The Hindustan Times. The candidate should be committed to adhering to timelines and delivering quality
