Job Description:

Regional Head Land Acquisition

Job Purpose: Responsible for acquiring land for all new upcoming projects for the Renewal Energy Business to meet the Business vision and targets. Develop the plan/ strategy for land acquisition working together with the Head Land Acquisition and other functional heads CPO, CFO, Engineering Head etc., Lead the process of obtaining permission & clearances for acquiring land for Plant, Solar, Wind, Floating Solar, Hybrid, BESS projects. To take care all other statutory permissions & clearances from Setting, Pollution Control Board, Revenue, Ground Water Department, Industry & Finance departments for all new projects (Solar, Wind, Floating Solar, Hybrid, BESS projects) and using it for intended purpose. Hold end-to-end accountability for land acquisition and related clearances at the local level across the project life cycle.

Identify acquisition opportunities





Develop the plan/ strategy for land acquisition existing and upcoming renewal energy projects (Solar, Wind, Floating Solar, Hybrid, BESS projects) across the country that is consistent with the overall business strategy and availability. Network with relevant stakeholders to get information on land.

Permits / Approval

Liaise with government, corporators, Land Aggregators, and villager to get the required permits / approvals for acquiring land to ensure business continuity.

Project Feasibility

Prepare financial analyses, market analyses, and reports for projects under consideration for purchase.

Land acquiring

Negotiate with landowners and/other agents. Review land / purchase agreements and documentation.

Community Development

Interact with local communities to create buy-in for acquiring land and provide other considerations, like employment, interfacing with local villages on CSR in exchange. Manage rehabilitation and resettlement to ensure peaceful and uninte
