We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Area Manager to drive business growth and manage sales operations across the assigned territory. The ideal candidate will be responsible for achieving business targets, strengthening distribution channels, leading high-performing teams, and ensuring operational excellence while maintaining strong relationships with partners and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth by achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets within the assigned territory.
- Lead, manage, and motivate a team of Field Sales Executives to maximize performance and productivity.
- Plan and execute field sales strategies to increase market penetration and customer acquisition.
- Identify new business opportunities through regular market visits and customer interactions.
- Build and maintain solid relationships with distributors, dealers, retailers, and key customers.
- Monitor territory performance, sales trends,
and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
- Conduct regular field visits to coach team members, review performance, and ensure effective execution.
- Ensure timely reporting of sales activities, pipeline updates, and business forecasts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Operations, and Customer Support to deliver an excellent customer experience.
- Resolve customer concerns promptly while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, processes, and sales guidelines.
Required Experience
- 5–8 years of experience in General Insurance sales.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in team handling or sales leadership.
- Experience in managing multiple branches or territories is preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- MBA or PGDM is preferred.
