About the Role
We are seeking an ambitious, hands-on, and strategically-minded Associate Director, Finance & Accounting to own the entire financial function of the company. You will be the custodian of our financial health, driving everything from daily operational accounting to strategic financial planning and FinOps optimization. This is a high-impact role requiring solid technical accounting knowledge, a detail-oriented mindset, and a proactive approach to business growth and efficiency.

Experience
5-6 years of progressive experience in Finance, Accounting, and Operations,



ideally within a fast-paced startup environment. CA/CPA/MBA (Finance) preferred.

Key Responsibilities

1. Core Financial Accounting & Reporting
Bookkeeping Ownership: Fully manage and oversee all accounting operations using Zoho Books (or similar cloud accounting software).
Timely Accounting: Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant recording of all revenue, expenses, assets, and liabilities.
Financial Reporting: Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, P&L;, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements for internal and external stakeholders.

2. FinOps, Treasury & Expense Control
FinOps & Operational Problem Solving: Spearhead FinOps initiatives focused on optimizing and automating operational financial workflows, including streamlining the lifecycle of vendor payments, customer refunds, financial reconciliation processes, etc.
Treasury Management: Manage working capital, monitor cash flow,
