Designs, creates, tests and improves current and existing products, systems and services. Engages cross-functionally with other technical / engineering teams to define product requirements, develop concepts, drive production processes, test prototypes and make real time adjustments to improve performance and functionality. Ensures all systems function according to design, technical specifications and cost targets.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication Engineering or electrical and electronics or Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering
- Minimum of 4-6 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in Development Engineering.
- Good business English skills (Written and spoken).
- Provides Development support and advice across varied product lines.
- Works with product line and manufacture leaders to analyze product requirements and understand cost, performance and scalability considerations.
- Plays a key role in relation to both internally developed and externally sourced technologies.
- Participates in verification of complex technologies and components, SME (subject matter expert) of key features.
- Ensures effective testing, debugging and problem resolution.
- Investigates and troubleshoots yield issues during prototype and production builds.
- Writes status and build reports for cross-functional review.
