This is a senior finance leadership opportunity responsible for establishing and scaling the India finance function within a growing international organization. You will serve as the primary finance leader for the India entity, overseeing accounting, statutory compliance, tax, payroll finance support, treasury coordination, and financial governance. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on ownership of financial close, reporting, controls, and regulatory obligations. You will lead the transition from an outsourced finance model to a scalable in-house operation, establishing processes and controls that support long-term growth. You will partner closely with global accounting teams, senior stakeholders, external advisors, and cross-functional teams. The role also provides an chance to play a key role in an ERP implementation while strengthening financial governance and operational excellence.

Accountabilities:
Serve as the primary finance leader for the India entity, overseeing accounting, statutory compliance, tax, payroll finance support, treasury coordination, and financial governance.
Own the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of monthly financial close activities, including account reconciliations, reporting packages, and consolidation inputs.
Lead the transition of finance operations from an external service provider to a scalable, internally managed India finance function.
Define finance roles, responsibilities, processes, controls, timelines, and governance structures to support the transition and ongoing operations.
Ensure accounting records and financial processes comply with US GAAP, India statutory requirements, the Companies Act, internal policies, and applicable regulatory standards.
