Role Description The Financial Accounting Specialist is a full-time, remote role based in Mumbai / Pune / Maharashtra, India. This role is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and reconciling financial statements and supporting schedules, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable standards and internal policies. The specialist will record daily transactions, manage general ledger entries, support month-end and year-end close, and assist with audits and regulatory reporting. The role includes using accounting software to maintain records, analyzing variances,



identifying process improvements, and preparing management reports that support data-driven decisions. The specialist will collaborate closely with finance and operations teams, respond to internal inquiries, and maintain transparent documentation for all accounting activities.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of Financial Statements and core Finance principles, including understanding of balance sheets, income statements, cash flow, and basic financial analysis.
Demonstrated Analytical Skills for reviewing data, identifying discrepancies, and interpreting financial trends to support recommendations.
Proficiency with Accounting Software and related tools (e.g., ERP systems, MS Excel) to process transactions, reconcile accounts, and generate reports.
Effective Communication skills, including the ability to present financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders and collaborate with cross-fun
