We are looking for an Electrical Wire Harness (EWH) Engineer to create, build, and maintain a highly detailed electrical/interconnect parts database, including all available technical parameters. The selected candidate will be part of a high-performance team immersed in the high-intensity development of engineering software tools. About Position name: Data Librarian Category: Electric Wiring Harness (EWH) Engineering Minimum education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline, or 2 years of experience in either engineering/or supply-chain for wire harness and electronics components instead of a degree. Full-time Job Location: Remote Qualifications Extensive understanding of the development of electrical wiring harness ( EWH ) designs Extensive use and selection of the electrical industry components' data sheets Excellent organizational skills, ability to meet deadlines, and manage multiple changing priorities. Solid Google Sheets or Excel is a MUST Understanding IPC/WHMA-A-620 and Mil-Aerospace standards such as MIL-DTL-3899, MIL-C-38999, MIL-C-24308, MIL-83513, and MIL-STD-1553 is a plus. Working knowledge of any ECAD/CAD for wire harnesses is a plus. Responsibilities Identify designated parts and research specification details by scouring potential sources such as parts catalogs, standard specifications, industry/military standards, commercial and public databases (MRP outputs), and replacement and cross-reference tables. Document EWH Detail/Assembly data into the company's electrical parts CAD database
