Salary: $65,000 ~ $80,000
Reports To: Executive Director

Overview
The Marketing & Community Engagement Coordinator leads Aozora Community’s program marketing and promotion efforts, taking charge of marketing across print, digital, and social channels, with additional responsibility for planning and executing the community events we host. The Coordinator is integral to community outreach and family engagement, working to expand program visibility and drive enrollment through effective marketing and memorable events. Acting as a leader and role model, the Coordinator embodies the vision and mission of Aozora Community Foundation,
playing a central role in advancing organizational goals and ensuring a positive, enriching experience for participants as they contribute to the overall success and growth of our community programs.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree
Passion for community building and Japanese language education
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a diverse team
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills in English
Proficiency in communication skills in Japanese (preferable)
Team player
Event planning and coordination
Social media management for community engagement
Experience in program promotion and advertising
Robust organizational and time-management skills
Experience with website management platforms preferred
Legal authorization to work in the United States
