Role Description This is a full-time, in office Sales role based in Delhi, India, focused on the Gurgaon region for the Publishing division. The Sales Person will visit schools, bookstores, and educational institutions to promote and sell the company’s range of school books. Daily responsibilities include meeting existing and prospective clients, presenting product catalogues, collecting and following up on orders, and maintaining strong customer relationships. The role also involves tracking sales targets, preparing basic sales reports,



coordinating with internal teams on stock and delivery, and gathering market feedback to support product and marketing decisions.
Qualifications

Proven ability in field sales or business development, preferably in publishing, education, or related sectors.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with school authorities, teachers, and distributors.
Basic negotiation, persuasion, and customer service skills to build trust and close sales.
Comfort with local travel across the Gurgaon region and good knowledge of the Delhi–NCR area.
Ability to maintain records, prepare simple sales reports, and work towards defined targets.
Minimum educational qualification: Higher Secondary (12th pass); a graduate degree in any discipline is an advantage.
Proficiency in English and Hindi; additional local languages are beneficial.
Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently while collaborating with internal team
