About The Role

Senior Power BI Developer with robust architectural depth, owning end-to-end technical delivery of enterprise analytics solutions — semantic modeling, governance, and deployment — as part of an onshore-offshore team model. You will be accountable for delivery quality, technical execution, and structured handoff practices with the onshore lead.

Key Responsibilities

Architect semantic models, star schemas, DAX frameworks, and composite models for enterprise Power BI solutions
Design Microsoft Fabric workloads — Lakehouse, Warehouse, Dataflow Gen2, DirectLake connectivity
Build CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (PBIP format) across Dev/QA/Prod tiers
Implement RLS, OLS, and sensitivity label policies for compliance
Collaborate closely with the onshore BI Architect on solution design, requirements translation, and delivery execution
Mentor junior team members and support delivery milestones with zero-defect quality and on-time delivery as the expected standard




Proactively identify model inefficiencies and report performance issues — flag and recommend solutions, not just execute on tickets

Qualifications

6+ years in BI/analytics; 2+ years architecting Power BI at enterprise scale
Deep expertise in DAX, M query, calculation groups, field parameters, and composite models
Hands-on Microsoft Fabric experience (OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse)
Experience managing Power BI Premium or Microsoft Fabric capacity (F-SKUs/P-SKUs), including performance tuning and capacity planning at scale
Azure DevOps CI/CD, XMLA endpoints, REST API automation, PBIP format
Azure data platform familiarity: ADF, Synapse, Azure SQL; Databricks and Snowflake a plus
Knowledge of external tools — Tabular Editor, DAX Studio, ALM Toolkit
Knowledge of other BI tools — Looker, Tableau, Sigma, etc.
Familiarity with Power BI MCP server and AI-assisted analytics workflows (e.g., Claude integration, Fabr
