Operation & Monitoring
Monitor turbine auxiliary systems (lube oil, seal oil, hydraulic, vacuum, cooling water systems).
Ensure all auxiliaries operate within prescribed parameters and safety limits.
Support turbine startup, shutdown, and load variation activities.
Analyze operational data and identify performance deviations.
Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance of auxiliary equipment.
Troubleshoot failures in pumps, heat exchangers, filters, valves, and piping systems.
Coordinate breakdown maintenance and ensure minimal downtime.
Maintain equipment history and reliability records.
Identify opportunities for energy efficiency and system improvement.
Investigate issues such as oil contamination, pressure fluctuations, and temperature rise.
Support root cause analysis (RCA)
for system failures or abnormal events.
Implement corrective and preventive actions.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, operating procedures, and statutory requirements.
Participate in safety audits, risk assessments, and hazard identification.
Maintain proper housekeeping and adherence to permit-to-work (PTW) systems.
Maintain operation logs, maintenance reports, and incident reports.
Prepare technical reports on system performance and failures.
Assist in standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintenance procedures development.
Work closely with turbine operation team, electrical, instrumentation, and maintenance teams.
Supervise contractors and ensure quality execution of jobs.
Participate in shutdown planning and execution.
