Role Description This is a remote, contract role for a Wedding Video Editor at ShanPhotography. The Wedding Video Editor will receive raw wedding footage and be responsible for selecting, organizing, and editing clips into cohesive, emotionally engaging highlight films and full-length videos. Day-to-day tasks include syncing multi-camera footage and audio, applying color grading to create a consistent cinematic look, and integrating licensed music, titles, and basic motion graphics.



The editor will collaborate with the creative team to align each project with brand standards and client expectations, maintain organized project files, and deliver final exports in specified formats and timelines. The role requires strong communication, reliable time management, and the ability to handle multiple projects with high attention to detail.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production for wedding or event footage.
Proficiency in Video Color Grading to achieve consistent, cinematic looks.
Ability to create and integrate Motion Graphics and Graphics for titles, lower thirds, and simple visual elements.
Experience with professional editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
Understanding of storytelling, pacing, and music selection for emotional impact.
Reliable access to a suitable editing workstation and high-speed internet for remote collaboration.
