This Position reports to: Senior Engineering Manager Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as the technical lead for all engineering activities in assignments. Each day, you will ensure that the activities related to engineering disciplines within the project are executed in an productive and cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by providing technical support to commissioning and start-up activities. The work model for the role is: LI – Onsite This role is contributing to the Electrification discipline of the Automation business within Process Industries for the India, Middle-East and Africa Region.
Main stakeholders include end customers, EPC/LSTK contractors, engineering consultants, project managers, process engineering teams, electrical and automation engineering teams, vendors, system integrators, and internal sales and execution teams. You will be mainly accountable for: Acting as a role model in applying design thinking or design for excellence concepts in projects, including modelling, prototyping, simulation, and calculations. Serving as a specialist in the application of advanced concepts and methods. Leading, supervising, and coordinates teams (5-25 members) in all engineering disciplines (both in-house and outsourced) on projects of medium complexity. Collaborating on project installation, commissioning, and site activities, to clarify potential issues or provide solutions to rectify the engineering errors.
