CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Month-End Close
▪ Own the full month-end close process across BSC and all acquired entities
▪ Prepare and post journal entries (JEs) including accruals, prepaid amortization, depreciation, and reclassifications
▪ Reconcile all balance sheet accounts — bank, credit card, AR, AP, deferred revenue, accrued liabilities
▪ Produce a clean, reviewed trial balance by the 10th of each month
▪ Prepare month-end P&L; and balance sheet reports for leadership review

Revenue Operations
▪ Pull revenue data from multiple sport-management and registration platforms (e.g., SportsEngine, Blue Star Sports,
TeamSnap, Demosphere, Activity Insight, or similar)
▪ Map and import revenue into QuickBooks correctly by entity, program, and revenue stream
▪ Reconcile revenue recognized in QuickBooks to source-platform reports monthly
▪ Maintain deferred revenue schedules for registration and program fees received in advance
▪ Ensure revenue is recorded on an accrual basis, not cash basis

Accounts Payable & Receivable
▪ Manage full AP cycle: enter bills,



code to correct GL accounts and entities, schedule and process payments
▪ Manage AR: invoice club partners and program clients, track collections, apply payments
▪ Reconcile intercompany transactions across acquired entities

Multi-Entity Bookkeeping
▪ Maintain separate, clean books for BSC parent entity and each acquired company
▪ Ensure proper intercompany eliminations and allocation of shared costs
▪ Set up chart of accounts and QuickBooks file for each current acquisition
▪ Support due diligence on new acquisitions — review target company books and identify cleanup needed

Reporting & Compliance
▪ Deliver monthly financial package to leadership: P&L;, balance sheet, cash flow summary, budget vs. actual
▪ Maintain organized workpapers and audit trails for all JEs and reconciliations
▪ Coordinate with external CPA firm for annual tax returns and year-end review/audit
▪ Assist with payroll processing and reconciliation with HR/
